Rhu Marina New Year Swim raises more than £1200 for  the RNLI

A beautiful New Year's day brought out record numbers for the annual New Year Swim at Rhu Marina.
More than 200 swimmers took the plunge while lifeboat crew members warmly wrapped up in their dry suits kept a watching brief! Huge numbers of spectators took advantage of the superb weather to witness the swimmers shaking off their hangovers from the previous evening's festivities.
The event raised a superb £1200 for the RNLI.
