Stormy Stan steals the show at Festival on the Quay

RNLI mascot Stormy Stan stole the show as the annual Festival on the Quay took place at Portishead Quays Marina on Saturday 11th July.
Organised jointly with Hall and Woodhouse, the event included music all afternoon and evening, a vintage motor bike and car show and a Fire Service demonstration of how to remove a casualty from a car accident which included cutting the roof off! There were various vessels on display including 'Chieftain', a 35ft Liverpool class Open Lifeboat.
As usual Festival on the Quay was extremely popular with both berth holders and Portishead residents and Hall and Woodhouse reported record takings for the day.
