Portishead Quays Marina receives planning consent for long term berthing layout.

Portishead Quays Marina has received planning consent from North Somerset Council for the long term layout of the marina once all of the proposed 375 berths are installed.
An order has been placed with Walcon Marine for the next phase of 25 pontoon berths at the Southern end of the marina and these are expected to be installed in June 2015.This will bring the capacity of the marina up to 275 berths.
Portishead Quays Marina Manager, Keith Berry, said 'We had our best ever take up at Portishead last year and this encouraging trend looks to be continuing into the new berthing year. We are confident that the extra berths will be occupied quickly and some have already been reserved by customers new to the marina.'
