Pontoon piles go in at Portishead

Work on the pontoon extension at Portishead Quays Marina is well under way with the walkway and Pier N in place and a number of the piles already driven.
Next week will see the start of the assembly and installation of the finger pontoons with installation of the pontoon services starting the week after.
Contractors, Walcon Marine, are using a vibro hammer to drive the piles which will help to keep noise disruption to households around the marina to a minimum.
