New berths planned for Portishead Quays Marina

New berths planned for Portishead Quays Marina

Quay Marinas has lodged a planning application with North Somerset Council in respect of the long term complete pontoon layout of Portishead Quays Marina. The marina currently has 249 berths and, as a result of a high rate of occupancy, we are proposing to add an further 25 berths at the Southern end of the basin in time for the start of the 2015 boating season.

Keith Berry, Portishead Quays Marina Manager, said 'We are currently experiencing strong demand for berths, particularly for larger boats, and the extra berths will mean that we can continue to satisfy our customers' needs. The completion of the construction work surrounding the marina basin and the additional restaurants and shops that are coming on stream close to the marina mean that Portishead Quays Marina is becoming increasingly popular with both resident and visiting yachtsmen'.
