Plans in place for Festival on the Quay on 15th July

Come along to our community fundraising event at Portishead Quays Marina where we are proud to be supporting the RNLI and Holly Hedge Animal Sanctuary and helping them to raise much needed funds.
The fun starts at 10am on 15th July with the Newfound Friends UK taking to the water with their Newfoundland Dogs, demonstrating the strength and skill of the Rescue Dogs.  They will be going in from our slipway opposite Hall & Woodhouse in Chandlery Square.
There will be all sorts going on for the family including face paints and bouncy castles and the RNLI will have their team here including Stormy Stan and the brand new RNLI Beach Buddies puppet show.  Portishead Coastguards and RNLI volunteers will show you how to throw a line to someone in trouble and come along to meet Jared whose life was saved by the RNLI. Holly Hedge Animal Sanctuary will be here and we are proud to have Michelle Lucking, local artist joining us for the day.Reel Fun will be running a crabbing competition plus live music all day and much more.
Festival on the Quay is being jointly sponsored by Quay Marinas and Hall and Woodhouse.
