Portishead Quays Marina features on BBC Breakfast

Portishead Quays Marina was on national television this week when BBC Breakfast came to visit.
The visit was linked to The RNLI 'Respect the Water' campaign which advises people on how to react when they unexpectedly fall into cold water.
BBC reporter, Fiona Lamdin, broadcast live interviews from the Kids Crabbing Pontoon at the marina and there was also a water based demonstration from a RNLI volunteer who explained the benefits of floating quietly in the water until the cold water shock passes rather than starting to swim strongly immediately after immersion.
