Good turnout for Penarth Cruise in Company

The Cruise in Company from Penarth Quays Marina to Portishead and back in the last weekend in April attracted a first class turnout with 11 boats making the trip.

Light winds and flat seas made for ideal conditions although some glimpses of the sun would have been welcome! The Saturday evening was spent at Hall & Woodhouse at Portishead where all participants enjoyed a convivial evening. A special mention goes to Neil and Matt from Pencoed Jack who enjoyed a great weekend despite being relatively new to sailing. Thanks also to Malcolm Broad of BlueLine Sea Training who organised the weekend.

The Cruise in Company was one of many events being arranged this summer at Penarth as part of the RYA Active Marina programme.
