Winter Dredging Campaign on schedule

Winter Dredging Campaign on schedule

This winter's dredging progamme at Conwy Quays and Deganwy Quays Marinas is progressing well despite the stormy and unsettled weather that North Wales has endured over the last few months. The dredging work is carried out by 'Little Orme' a small cutter suction dredger owned jointly by Quay Marinas and The Crown Estate.
The dredge of Deganwy Quays Marina  was completed before Christmas and, as can be seen from the photograph, produced some outstanding results. The Conwy dredge is well under way and is scheduled to finish in mid April.
It is also pleasing to report that Natural Resources Wales have granted Quay Marinas a licence to carry out maintenance dredging at Conwy and Deganwy for a further 3 years.
