Quay Marinas secures first external dredging contract

Following the purchase earlier this year of The Crown Estate's half share of the cutter suction dredger 'Little Orme', Quay Marinas has secured its first external dredging contract at Doc Fictoria Caernafon from Gwynedd Council.
Work will start later this week following positioning of the dredger's pipeline. 'Little Orme' was transported by road and lowered into the dock using a tandem lift by 2 cranes. 'Little Orme' is likely to working at Caernafon until mid November and will then be returning to Conwy to dredge its home marina starting just before Christmas.
