Dan Jones heads for a busy retirement

The retirement lunch of Dan Jones MBE, Boatyard Supervisor at Conwy Quays Marina, took place on Wednesday 24th February at the Quay Hotel Deganwy after 23 years association with the marina.
Dan was presented with a Abu Garcia fishing reel by Quay Marinas Area Manager, Jon Roberts, who said 'Dan Has made a huge contribution to the success of Conwy Quays Marina over the years and is extremely popular with staff and customers alike. We are sorry to see him go but he has thoroughly earned his retirement'.
It sounds as if it will be quite a busy retirement as Dan is still Head Launcher of the Llandudno lifeboat after an involvement of more than 30 years with the RNLI. He also enjoys fishing, walking and gardening as well as carrying out his grandfatherly babysitting duties.
