Crowds flocked to Conwy Quays Marina for the All Wales Boat Show which ran in beautiful sunshine from 30th May to 1st June.
The show offered something for everyone with over 100 exhibitors including new boat manufacturers such as Sunseeker, Fairline, Hanse, Jeanneau, Beneteau, Robalo, Chapparal, Quicksilver and Bayliner with over 100 used boats also for sale. Visitors to the show were encouraged to try their hand at waterborne activities such as paddle boarding, water cycling and paddling a coracle.
Flyboarding demonstrations were also given throughout the show which drew huge crowds. A flyboard is a type of water jetpack connected by a long hose to a powerful jetski through which water is pumped at high pressure through nozzles beneath the the feet of the rider who can be lifted up to 15 metres in the air.
Quay Marinas Ltd was also pleased to host a complimentary champagne breakfast for Conwy and Deganwy Quays Marina berth holders during the show which was exceptionally well attended.
The show was also attended by Ken Skates, Deputy Minister for Skills and Technology in the Welsh Government, who gamely participated in many of the activities on offer.
