Neyland Rowing Club contribution

Quay Marinas was pleased recently to help Neyland Rowing Club by contributing £1000 to the Club's campaign to raise funds for a new junior training boat.

Neyland Rowing Club member and Quay Marinas' Managing Director, Simon Haigh, presented the cheque to the Club at a Sunday morning training session and said:

'The Milford Haven Waterway is a fantastic arena for watersports and rowing provides a great opportunity for anyone to get out on the water with a friendly bunch of people and enjoy the superb marine environment with which we have all been blessed. On a still, crisp morning, rowing up river with almost no one else around just cannot be beaten. Getting youngsters involved in the sport with purpose built equipment will hopefully encourage more local kids to give the sport a try, and , once hooked, I am sure that many will quickly progress'.
