End of Season Party

A very successful annual end of season BBQ was held on Saturday 8th September. The event was held in the Marina Boatyard, where a marquee was erected for the disco which had the children and adults entertained throughout the afternoon and evening. There was face painting and a paper boat race through Town Quay for the children during the afternoon. The winning boat was the trimaran designed and built by Charlie Allen (and his dad Simon!), off yacht September Moon.

The BBQ and Bar were well attended and the great weather allowed berth holders and local residents to sit out and enjoy the evening.

The evening raffle raised £270 which was split between donations to the RNLI and St Christopher's School, Bristol, for children and young adults with profound learning difficulties.
