RNLI Sail Day

On the 8th June Quay Marinas Ltd sponsored one of the 19 yachts entered in the RNLI sail day off Cardiff in the Bristol Channel. This annual event raises funds for the RNLI by yacht owners giving up a day of their time and welcoming corporate guests onboard for a days sailing. The event this year raised over £11,000 and was held in warm sunny weather, albeit only a light breeze. All participants thoroughly enjoyed the sailing and hospitality. Five berth holders from Penarth Quays Marina entered with their yachts; Synergy, Delphinus, Jammel, Krismar and Equinox. Krismar, owned by Mike Wayman and sailed by Quay Marinas staff including Penarth Quays Manager, Stuart Jones, and guests were awarded the Bill Davies Memorial Trophy on the day.
