Gypsy Moth IV
Francis Chichester's "Gypsy Moth IV" is scheduled to visit Bangor from 18th - 20th August. This fine yacht has recently returned to UK completing a voyage re-enacting Chichester's record breaking 1967 passage around the globe, racing the times set by the clipper ships.
This first visit to Ireland will be made on a promotional trip in association with Corum watches and Belfast jewellers, Lunns, so it is expected that the visit will generate considerable interest in this craft which forms a key part of the UK's National heritage.
