On 21st October, the new slipway at Portishead Quays Marina was used to launch the 17 gigs competing in races from Portishead Point up the River Avon to the Clifton Suspension Bridge.

In early October, top Dutch dredging company Van Oord completed the first phase of a 3 part dredging campaign at Conwy Quays Marina to be carried out during the autumn/ winter period.

Bangor Harbour Zipline '07 raises £11,000
The 2007 Zipline took place over Bangor Harbour on 30th June, when 100 souls confronted their fear of heights to zip over 200 metres in aid of the RNLI and CLIC Sargent.

Andrew sweats it out
Quay Marinas Chairman, Andrew Yates, completed his first Bristol Half Marathon on 9th September in a time of 1 hour 52.58 raising approximately £1,250 for St Christophers School, Bristol, a residential school for children with severe or profound learning difficulties.
